Polis
Gather the views of a large public and map its opinions, in more detail than a survey.
Polis is a consultation platform: participants react to statements and add their own. The project describes it as more organic than surveys and less effort than focus groups. Its main deployment, pol.is, is free for non-profits and governments.
And where does AI come in?
The repository describes itself as open source AI for large-scale feedback. Its method, set out in a paper ("Scaling Deliberation by Mapping High Dimensional Opinion Spaces"), maps the opinions expressed so that public decisions better reflect their diversity.
