OpenSoundscape
Analyse sound recordings of nature to recognise the wildlife in them.
OpenSoundscape is a free Python library for analysing bioacoustic recordings: handling audio and spectrograms, detecting vocalisations, estimating where a sound comes from using synchronised recordings.
And where does AI come in?
You can train deep learning models to recognise sounds, apply or fine-tune pre-trained convolutional networks, and draw on existing models such as BirdNET, HawkEars or Perch.
