MONAI
The open framework researchers and developers use for deep learning in medical imaging.
MONAI is an open framework, built on PyTorch, for deep learning in medical imaging. Researchers and engineers at NVIDIA, the NIH, King's College London, Mayo Clinic, Stanford and more than 30 other institutions maintain it. It is meant for people who build models and is not a service for patients.
And where does AI come in?
MONAI provides the pieces specific to medical imaging: transforms, 3D architectures and metrics. MONAI Label is used to annotate images, MONAI Deploy to deploy models. The Model Zoo gathers more than 40 models shared by the community.
The AI label
- Model or technique
- Reference 3D architectures and over 40 models shared in the Model Zoo.
- Model published
- Not filled in
- Where it runs
- On the premises of the team using it, with PyTorch, on several GPUs and nodes if needed.
- Data
- Not filled in
- Role of people
- MONAI makes no diagnosis; MONAI Label helps humans annotate images.
- Frugality
