compar:IA
Compare two AIs blind, and feed open data in French.
You ask a question, two anonymous models answer, you vote for the answer you prefer; their names are only shown afterwards. The arena is free and needs no account. It shows how models differ (bias, openness, energy use) and publishes a leaderboard built from the votes. In June 2026 it had passed 700,000 conversations and 250,000 votes, about 89% of them in French.
And where does AI come in?
The project publishes open datasets of prompts, votes and reactions, for research, training and fine-tuning, under the Etalab Open Licence 2.0 and CC BY 4.0. Other instances already exist, such as the Danish arena.
