Anemoi
The European weather centre's open tools for building machine-learning weather forecasts.
Anemoi gathers the software building blocks for data-driven weather forecasting models: training, model architecture, graph building. It is run by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, an intergovernmental organisation. The software is still incubating.
And where does AI come in?
The project does not deliver a forecast: it gives others open tools, under the Apache 2.0 licence, to train their own machine-learning weather forecasting models.
