Albert
The French State's generative AI, made available to public servants.
Albert is a project of Etalab, a service of the French interministerial digital directorate (DINUM), that makes generative AI models available to public servants. For France services staff, it is a conversational assistant that draws on official sources to answer their questions. A bot also brings it to Tchap, the State's messaging app.
And where does AI come in?
Generative AI models that answer by drawing on official French data. Etalab also publishes Mediatech, public datasets from the administration, vectorised and ready for public-sector AI projects.
